February Photo Challenge – Day 9 – Close up

Featuring The Busters, so called because everyone responds when you call for Buster as if it were their name too. Would that then make them the Buster Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidts? His name is their name too? Random crazy thoughts are a terrible thing to waste These pictures are from last August.

This is The One and Only Official Buster of the House, our big boy. When I started blogging, I was going to write from his perspective (dog blog), thus the name Buster’s House – because everything belongs to Buster, even the blog.

This is Miss Sadie Lou. She always gets her way and has the last word, as you can see by her takeover of Buster’s photo session. Allegedly, she is from the same litter as Buster. We were told that their momma was a rottweiler who hopped the fence, then came back and gave birth to a litter of eight puppies, none of which looked alike. She’s half Buster’s size.

This is Leeloo. She joined us 5 or 6 years ago. She is a total daddy’s girl and the best big sister in our pack. I just took this picture because I couldn’t find a good close up picture of her. Guess I know who I need to spend more time pointing the camera at.

Back in July, fellow local heart mom Paula became a puppy mom to nine Golden Retriever/Labradoodle mixes.

This is Opie. He was the runt of the litter.
